Hey y’all! Welcome to Tavern! I’m Courtney Hicks, but around here most people just call me The Queen. I’m the owner and general manager, and this place means everything to me. Before Auburn, I was born and raised in Prattville, Alabama, where I owned Queen’s Meats—so yeah, the name stuck... But if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that my world revolves around my three boys and my five grandbabies. Family is everything to me, and that’s exactly what I’ve built here at Tavern. I might come off a little tough at first—but it’s only because I care a whole lot. My heart is in this place, and my goal is simple: I want every single person who walks through our doors to feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. Tavern on the Trax has been a whirlwind in the best way. It’s brought me incredible opportunities, unforgettable memories, and most importantly, relationships that mean the world to me. This community has poured so much into me, and I’ll spend every day trying to pour that same love right back into it.
